Deciding to put the house in the market that was out of state was a difficult decision. We contacted three realtors online and Bill was the second one calling us back. What made Bill stands out were the following:
1. First Bill called us personally to introduce himself, to find out what our situation was (this helps when providing solutions). The other two realtors either had a price for our house without further research or had an assistant called without providing any feedback or solution.
2. Bill has above average knowledge about appraisal so he was able to give us advice on how to price the house.
3. His mission statement is: “As Your Agent, I am also Your Employee.” He followed thru with this to the T.
a. Since we lived 1,200 miles away, after the tenant left he worked with our rental property management to get the keys of the house, he did the walk through the house and provided us feedback on the condition of the house.
b. He got us two to three estimates for the deep cleaning of the house, for the carpet cleaning, for the power wash cleaning and presented the companies to us along with the pros and cons for us to make the final decision. That was a total of more than 8 estimates (phone calls, appointments, etc.) that is a lot of work and he is the employee that you need to hire.
c. He was there for the inspections.
d. He helped us find contractors for the few fixing that the house needed.
e. He even went to inspect the work after completion.
f. He found us the attorney.
4. He kept us informed through out the whole process.
5. Bill made this whole transaction so seemingly for us that we are forever thankful. I was never able to meet him in person but he demonstrated professionalism, honesty and a strong work ethic.
6. Not to mention we were able to receive one of the brochures that he made and the presentation and the pictures were outstanding.
